DOHMH to host Zika calls

May 9, 2016

NYC Obstetric providers, Midwives, Family Medicine providers, and others who care for women who are planning a pregnancy or who are currently pregnant can play a key role in the prevention and diagnosis of Zika infection.

To support this role, the New York City Health Department invites these providers to participate in a conference call regarding Zika virus infection and pregnancy.

These calls will provide:

  • Updated information on Zika virus infection and its connection with birth defects

  • Details about who should be tested and how to obtain testing for these patients

  • An opportunity to ask questions

There will be two calls, one in English and one in Spanish. The same information will be presented at both calls. The details of these calls are as follows:

Date:    Thursday, May 12, 2016 (English)
Time:    12:00 noon–1:00 p.m.
Dial-In Number:     (800) 611-1148

Date:    Friday, May 13, 2016 (Spanish)
