CHCANYS Emergency Management Team has partnered with Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and is offering a 1-day in-person workshop on de-escalation techniques using Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® methods.
This intensive in-person training will be delivered by a certified CPI trainer and will focus on prevention techniques and will equip participating staff with proven strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. The CPI method has been recognized nationally and internationally as an effective standard for crisis prevention and intervention training.
